Jet Technologies partners with Jiangyin Comat for the supply of quality tinplate sheet and coil for the can-making (food and general line), small drum-making, aerosol and closure industries in our region.

Jiangyin Comat is located in the centre of the Yangtze River Delta.

With a current total investment of more than two hundred million US dollars and an area of over 68,000 square meters, Jiangyin Comat has over 850 employees, of whom over 20% are engineers and technicians. At present, Comat is equipped with four electrolytic tinning lines, together with cold rolling machines, trimming machines, cutting lines and annealing furnaces. The current annual production capability is 450,000 metric tonnes with a value of USD 500.

This year Jiangyin Comat commenced its fourth major expansion project which involves further investment of US 256 million. On completion (April 2011) this project will add an additional capacity of 400,000 tonnes for food grade tinplate production.

Jiangyin Comat’s Quality Management Systems is certified to ISO9001:2008 and all tinplate is produced is in accord with JIS G3303-2002 (Japanese Standard), ASTM A623M-2002 (US Standard), DIN EN 10203-1991 (European Standard) and ISO 11949-1995 (International Standard).
