Laem System

Laem System, originally established in 1972 and based in Casale Monferrato (Italy), is a leading manufacturer of high tech Slitter Rewinders and auxiliary Converting Machines used by Converters and Film manufacturers in the flexible packaging industry.

The Company applies its cutting edge technology and advanced software control systems throughout its whole production range, being, general purpose Dual Shaft (RB2 / TR115) and Turret Slitters (RB4 / TR415).

RB Series

The RB Series are compact and modular machines with a great price-quality ration. The new models also feature an over-head web-path which is extremely important in the food and pharmacuetical industries to avoid any film contamination during production.

TR Series

The TR models are heavy-duty and high-speed machines which can also be redesigned and tailor-made according to the specific needs of each Customer. This is usually done either for parnering Customers who want to integrate in the machine layout or software their own expertise; or for special materials like thick films (PVC, APET), paper, label stock and adhesive substrates or barrier and metallised films for example.

The flexible layout of our TR machines allows seamless integration several value adding processes like laser inscribing, easy open applications, micro perforation, web cleaners and high definition cameras and for inspection procedures.

Other machines in the production range include wide web slitters for film to 5 metres in width.
