Flexible dies are made from polished, hardened steel and are available with a Nickel coating to ensure consistent performance and longer die life. Flexible dies are also available with a Laser Hardened finish to ensure longer lasting die performance when this is required. The dies can be used for both kiss cut and cut through converting applications, and can be used for a huge range of work. The flexible dies are applied to a magnetic cylinder meaning that tooling changes are quick and efficient resulting in less set up time for the customer.
Gerhardt Magnetic Cylinders are used in conjunction with Gerhardt Flexible Dies for die cutting. Made using sintered magnets to ensure the maximum grip for your plates, Gerhardt Magnetic Cylinders are a high tolerance product that ensures the best cutting results for our customers. The cylinders are made with removable, fully hardened bearers for maximum life and the simple replacement or parts when wear does finally occur.
